Job Overview: We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented candidates to assist with the management of the agency's Records Access program. This position requires individuals who can work independently on time-sensitive and confidential tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Complete provider redactions on finalized Justice Center cases for facility review.

Process redactions for cases requested under SSL § 496 and FOIL requests.

Audit and review redactions performed by other staff to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

Train new staff on provider redactions and workflow procedures.

Monitor provider redaction workflow in SharePoint to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Assist with staff responsibilities and provide support as needed.

Present training materials and redaction topics during all-staff meetings.

Draft cover letters for correspondence with providers and other relevant parties.

Review Investigative Summary Reports (ISRs) and Letters of Determination (LODs) for completeness and coordinate with supervisors when necessary.

Assist with dispatching case information to the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG).

Grant Corrective Action Plan (CAP) extensions for delayed provider cases.

Perform records management and reconciliation duties.

Mail out closed cases to providers and applicable parties.

Ensure the proper handling of confidential information and import/export data from Justice Center databases.

Undertake additional projects and duties as required by agency needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong task orientation with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to work independently with confidential, time-sensitive information.

Experience in redacting sensitive documents in accordance with legal standards.

Proficiency in auditing and reviewing redactions for accuracy.

Proven experience in training new staff members.

Familiarity with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and LEAN methodologies for process improvement.

Effective communication skills for correspondence with state agencies and service providers.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Adobe Pro, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Ability to learn and effectively use the Justice Center database program.
