Dairy Production Operator

Johnstown, NY | Full-Time

A well-established dairy manufacturing company in Johnstown is looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Operator to join their team. This is a hands-on production position in a clean, food-manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production and processing equipment
• Set up equipment and assist with production changeovers
• Monitor product quality, temperatures and production processes
• Package, label and prepare finished products
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and production areas
• Follow food-safety, quality and workplace safety procedures
• Complete basic production records and paperwork
• Identify equipment or production issues and notify the supervisor
• Assist with moving materials and product as needed

Requirements:

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a wet/refrigerated production environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical production work
• Must be able to work as part of a team
