AccuStaff is an employment agency helping businesses in the Capital District markets with their hiring needs.

What type of jobs do we hire for?

Temporary

We define temporary work as having a start and end date. The dates may not be exact, but these are defined time frame.

Temp jobs are typically designed to cover a specific purpose for our clients. Examples could be to cover a leave of absence, a peak in business, vacation coverage, seasonal jobs, or a special project. Every client handles it differently. Temporary work can also be indefinite in length. This doesn’t mean these positions can’t result in something long term, but the intent is that the assignment has a shelf life. This might be good for you if you’re not sure what you want to do, or just need something for a period of time. With temporary work, you’re working on an assignment as an AccuStaff talent.

Temp-to-Hire

Temp-to-Hire is similar to temporary jobs, but with the intended option that our client is looking for someone long term to fill their specific need.  Temp-to-hire is never a guarantee, you have to earn the role. There are a lot of other factors related to their business needs, and your job search that come into play. All things being equal, some candidates think of a temp to hire role as a “foot in the door” or “probation” period where they can try a business out before making a long term commitment.  We liken it to a long term job opportunity. Direct Hire

These are positions where our client wants to have you on their payroll at the point of hire. It means that you are not an AccuStaff employee; you would become our client’s employee on day one of that long term job (full time or part time).  Different businesses elect this option based on the needs and goals of their organizational. Many times these are what people might call “Mission Critical” type of roles. The process is similar in that there is still a formal vetting and interview process, but the end result is a little different. Direct Hire roles may also be called Permanent Placement or Perm roles.

Car Wash Attendant
Hits: 17888
Location: Johnstown, NY
Pay $17/hr
Part time - must be available to work flexible hours - mostly midshift/nights and weekends
 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with car wash services
  • Operate car wash equipment and ensure proper functionality
  • Maintain cleanliness of the facility and surrounding areas
  • Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries
  • Perform light maintenance and restock supplies as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods

Inventory Specialist - SAP experience preferred
Hits: 6

Location: Menands, NY
Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed
Pay: $20-$22/hr

AccuStaff is seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to support warehouse and inventory operations for one of our clients. This position is ideal for someone with strong inventory control experience and hands-on knowledge of SAP systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting receiving activities, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
  • Process inventory transactions using SAP
  • Perform goods receipts and inventory movements utilizing SAP transactions including:
    • MIGO
    • LS24
    • MM03 / MM02
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and conduct cycle counts
  • Monitor warehouse stock locations and storage bins
  • Coordinate with receiving, purchasing, and warehouse teams
  • Verify materials against purchase orders and shipping documents
  • Support inventory audits and reporting activities
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of inventory, warehouse, or materials management experience
  • Previous SAP experience preferred
  • Knowledge of:
    • Goods receipt processes
    • Inventory adjustments
    • Material lookups
    • Warehouse stock inquiries
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Forklift experience is a plus

Administrative Assistant

Location: Johnstown, NY 

HOURS: 8:30am-4pm

Pay $18.50/hr

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Administrative/Clerical - experience or skills performing administrative tasks in various office software, filing documents and maintaining records. Providing customer service.

Organizational skills - ability to organize workload, processes, or physical objects and spaces.

Qualifications:

  • Accurate and fast typing skills (60 to 70 wpm)
  • Excellent computer literacy; skilled in quickly mastering new interfaces and systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Great professional communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A “can-do” positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining focus
  • Must have reliable transportation

Pay $18/hr

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Data entry – typing/entering data, including orders, into a database or computer software.
