Position Overview

We are seeking a Working Supervisor to join a successful, established operation. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is comfortable working on the floor, performing the same duties as the team, and taking on additional responsibility for supervising employees and supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with the current Site Supervisor and serve as their right hand. This person will be expected to learn all aspects of the operation and be capable of stepping in to oversee the team when the Site Supervisor is absent.

This is an excellent long-term career opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the company. The goal is for the successful candidate to eventually move into the Site Supervisor position as the current supervisor approaches retirement.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on alongside employees and perform all aspects of the job
• Assist with supervising, directing, and motivating employees
• Help coordinate daily workflow and ensure work is completed efficiently
• Support the Site Supervisor with day-to-day operations
• Step in and oversee employees in the Site Supervisor's absence
• Train and assist employees with proper procedures and job responsibilities
• Monitor productivity, quality, attendance, and workplace expectations
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Lead by example and be willing to do whatever tasks are necessary to keep operations running smoothly
• Learn all company processes and procedures with the goal of advancing into the Site Supervisor role

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Reliable, dependable, and professional
• Must be comfortable working in a hands-on, working supervisor role
• Ability to work alongside employees while also providing direction and leadership
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to take initiative and make sound decisions
• No significant gaps in employment history
• Stable work history with a demonstrated record of reliability
• Must be willing to submit a resume for consideration
