Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Technician for an open-ended position at a manufacturing and machine shop facility. This role focuses on building upkeep, repairs, and general maintenance to support safe and efficient operations. The right candidate may be considered for a permanent role based on performance and business needs. 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic handyman tasks.
• Support building refresh projects with a strong focus on interior painting, repairs, and general upkeep.
• Assist with exterior maintenance as needed.
• Respond to general facility work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.

Requirements

• General hands-on experience across multiple trades (plumbing, painting, basic maintenance, carpentry, etc.).
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs. and work from ladders.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/machine shop environment.
• Ability to wear required PPE (safety glasses, safety shoes.) for extended periods.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with direction.
