AccuStaff is seeking a Traffic Data Processor to assist with traffic monitoring and data analysis in accordance with NYSDOT Traffic Monitoring Standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in various software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Email and Windows Explorer for efficient file management.
- Ensure traffic monitoring data is consistent and meets NYSDOT standards.
- Analyze traffic count data using MS Excel and specialized traffic software.
- Use Google Maps and ArcGIS for data analysis and verification.
- Compare current traffic data with historical trends for accuracy.
- Organize and store traffic data properly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of traffic counts.
- Work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Communicate with traffic count contractors regarding data submissions.
- Verify data accuracy with other team members.
- Apply predetermined methods to develop factors for shifts in submitted data.
